Open a Thai Bank Account as a Foreigner
Opening a bank account in Thailand as a foreigner depends on your visa, your address, your income and often on the branch itself. One branch says yes, another asks for a work permit, a third wants a letter you have never heard of.
We check your situation first, choose a realistic bank and branch, prepare the documents and go with you to the appointment. We interpret, help with the forms and set up mobile banking. The bank makes the final decision, and we tell you honestly what your chances are before you pay.

- What we did
- Earlier that day we had picked up the release papers for his frozen account at the cyber police. Then we collected the missing documents and interpreted at the branch.
- Result
- New account opened the same day. The client thanked us for unblocking the old account and opening the new one.

- Problem
- Other banks would not open an account because his old account was frozen by a police order from Udon Thani.
- What we did
- We flew to Udon Thani and got a release letter from the police the next day. Then we prepared the documents and interpreted at SCB.

- Problem
- A student needed a new account, but his school was not on the bank’s accepted list, and the documents were refused.
